Ok, you're begining to scare me. Sometimes I think you've tapped into my brain somehow. :-p

I kid you not, I just heard this on the radio in my car as I was pulling in to my office and was still singing it in my head. I just got to the "romeo take me somewhere we can be alone" part when I checked to see if you had updated anything.... Creepy!

Taylor Swift = virtually unheard of in the UK

Though I did see this song touted as a new release on a music channel at the weekend

Is she considered country? That genre doesn't really go down all that well over here. A ton of really huge country acts (like Rascal Flatts and their ilk) could walk down the street fully unmolested in the UK.

As could the Dave Matthews Band.

@jess -- I would definately consider Taylor Swift country -- I saw her perform on the Country Music Awards, and I'm pretty sure she won something, so I figure that should qualify her...

And... when I used to work in a dairy barn, all we listened to was country (much to my chagrin)... and she was ALWAYS on...

I'm not a big country music fan, but this song is a good one in my book... :D

I like some country ie. taylor swift, sugarland, dixie chicks, and the REALLY bluegrass stuff. what i can't stand is garth brooks and some of the guys who do country - though that guy Nicole Kidman is married to is cool (not just because he's cute either)

I adore Taylor Swift...and I'm so jealous that someone so young can be so damn talented (with both her vocals and her writing).
