Casey Pierro-Zabotel is officially a Penguin!

The Province
is reporting that he signed the standard three-year, entry-level contract with the Pens and is on his way to Wilkes-Barre to join the Baby Pens for their series against the Hershey Bears. I am so excited! This kid is great, and I know he's going places (Pennsylvania, apparently, to start) and while the Pens aren't exactly lacking in the offense department, I'd like to remind you all that this kid just beat John Tavares in CHL scoring this season, by quite a bit too. Yet another kick-ass third round pick (the Pens drafted CPZ 80th OA in 2007). Oh, and he had a +62 rating this season. SICK.

Congratulations CPZ!
And GOOD LUCK in Wilkes-Barre!
