Marc-Andre Fleury Days

Well, folks, we've hit another milestone! We are officially less than one month away from the start of the 2009-10 season. The summer goes by just a little bit faster when Lord Stanley comes to party.

29 days away can only mean one thing....

Drafted out of the QMJHL first OA by the Penguins in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft, Flower played four seasons with the Cape Breton Screaming Eagles, earning both the Mike Bossy Trophy as the Q's top prospect, and the Telus Cup as the top defensive player in 2003.

MAF is only the third goalie to be chosen first OA in the NHL draft, after Michel Plasse and Rick DiPietro.

Flower's jersey number, 29, was retired by the Cape Brenton Eagles on January 25, 2008.

International Play

World Junior Championships Top Goaltender - 2003

World Junior Championships MVP - 2003

World Junior Championships (Silver Medal) - 2003, 2004

Oh, how I miss Colby!

MAF > Carey Price (duh!)

Lord Stanley tastes like champagne.

A little Team Canada action...

1) He loves chocolate - swoon!

2) He would be Happy for sure if he was the dwarf - swoon again!

3) He changes it up on rock, paper, scissors...and has nice hands!

Fabulous post, Kylie, and this one made my afternoon!
